Spirit of the O!

One of the most wonderful and remarkable things about our little Olive is just how spirited she is! Where does that energy come from? She might be one of the worst sleepers EVER yet even the lack of sleep rarely dampens her lively happy self. She is always up and at it, thumping about, flapping, smiling, chatting, babbling and always grabbing everything!!!! So, it seemed right to do a little chronological photo-entry to document 9 1/2 months of the lovely spirit of O!...can't wait until she can walk!

And we're off!!!

After watching Olive drag herself around the bedroom for a couple of weeks trying to figure out how the hell to coordinate those chubby little limbs, we are now happy to provide the first evidence of Olive doing her version of the "front crawl"


And now she's off there is nothing she likes better than to plod around on all fours making a bee- line for something or other and especially someone on the floor taking pictures...

Happy New Year!

A BIG Happy New Year from the Pilgrim's wishing all our family, friends and all a brilliant 2010!!!

Almost....

Nearly 9 Months old and it looks like Olive is just days away from crawling. We put her on the floor and she gets up on all fours...

...her little butt sways about and she makes a few tentative shuffles forward...

...and then, flops down on her face, whoops!

And then we start all over again...

Almost there!!!
And, let me tell you, if there's something she wants on the other side of the room, she'll get there!
