Olive looked quite fetching with her sunglasses on, the cheeky thing. I would say she definitely thought she looked a bit groovy with a bit of that fab 4 feel or is it a little bit of Oasis attitude in there?

England Vs. USA

Last night was huge, England played their first game in the world cup competition in South Africa and although I don't follow football much the world cup is a national institution and the only sporting event I must watch. So, here we have an interesting situation; I am British, Kellye is American and Olive is both! Who is that Smolive going to support? Anyway, after much thought and many comments about the marital harmony in our household what was the outcome?



A 1-1 draw!!!!! Bloody useless! Engalnd's first match in the world cup and come-on we were supposed to kick your butts!!! At least there is still peace in the household...

Olive just LOVES giving kisses. She loves it so much she will try to kiss anybody from total strangers on the bus to her reflection in the mirror. It really is so sweet but we aren't talking about little peck on the cheek here!

Going to have to watch that one down the road....

Doin' it in the Park!

A glorious sunny weekend in May, and that means we are all up early and off to the park after breakfast. Olive heads for the swings which she has loved since 6 months -and who doesn't love the swings? In fact, who invented the swing? No idea! A quick Google search doesn't come up with anything definitive. Apparently the inventor of the swing set is unknown (?) but children's playgrounds became popular in the United States around the early 1800's.

And what's better than swings and slides...

Ah, there is no such thing as a bad weekend! We spent a very nice Saturday afternoon in the gardens of Hampton Court relaxing and as usual running around chasing the Smolive and her trolley.

She only paused to practice her dexterity skills...

...followed by some head bashing!
