Hampton Court Beer & Jazz Festival Pt.2

The end of August bank-holiday weekend and the return of the HC Beer & Jazz Fest. which has become the main stage for a UK Acid Jazz revival on our doorstep and Olive's live jazz-funk education! At 16 months her second installment was better and bigger than last year, a beautiful summer day, plenty of good tunes, plenty of real ale for dad, Olive got to sport daddy's summer hat and best of all hang out with her mate Nathan from nursery...



It's brilliant, you can see a certain connection when they get together and you know it must be something special when Olive decides it is then time to show off that lovely belly!

A lovely end to the summer!

France

The last week of our August summer holiday was spent in the Sth. of France at the Pilgrims (Senior!) lovely abode in Finestret in the foot-hills of the Pyrennes a picturesque place to relax and get some quality family time in.




Olive was extremely excited to have a new place to run about and explore and discovered some new activities like this ball-rope something-or-other which worked very well as a set of reins for the Smalls!

However the real fun was found when Granny put Olive in the Wheel Barrow and after that it was her favourite mode of transport for the week!

She really did look a picture sitting in that wheel barrow giggling and looking very pleased with herself! The other huge success was the pool! She flapped away in the water like a dolphin and it was hard to get her out shivering with delight my goodness she looooooved it so much, what a laugh!

Typically we got almost no snaps of Granny and Gramps (or Bubba as Olive would say!) as that camera is always trained on the little'n regardless, we all enjoyed some quality time and plenty of quality Holiday moments.
