Thanks to Meme and Pepe's well chosen Crimbo gift today the Muffin adorned her favourite "Princess dress" grabbed her brushes and (easy clean) pigments and with a surge of creative expression and a deft hand knocked out her first abstract masterpiece in literally minutes!!!

Look at that movement that focus -genius!

I hope this is the shape of things to come, Olive feeding that creative impulse and perhaps down the line we have a little artist in the making -just like her daddy!

Born on Sat. Dec. 3rd at 2:29pm weighing in a sturdy 8.2lbs here he is just 2 days old and what an absolute joy he is to behold. As with the first time I am totally speechless, in awe and in love again -what a beautiful little chap he is!

Potty Time!

Our clever little monkey-chops has done us proud. Olive is now fully Potty trained at 2 1/2 and the best part is Olive did it all on her own -well more or less! No "accidents" at Nursery and none of the usual uphill struggle to for us in fact, she wanted to sit on that potty!!!

Olive loved the Sticker chart. It didn't last long but just long enough.
It started with stars in the relevant box and then after a while well hell, they can go anywhere as long as it works!

Messing about on the river

A beautiful bright and sunny Sunday in July. As a little birthday treat (...for me!) we rented a little motor boat from the local skiff and boat hire in nearby Thames Ditton. We took along some friends and Olive's mate Nathan who both looked very fetching in their life vests!

Bless that Nathan, he always wants to hold Olive's hand!
