Christmas 2013

Once again Christmas has come and gone in a flash so fast in fact it has taken a month to edit/post this bloomin' entry! Where does the time go! This year we all went over to the Twickenham Pilgrim's for the Christmas feast and festivities! Olive delivered Xmas party dresses for the girls and as always she was overjoyed to spend the day hanging out with her favourite cousin Charlotte and Granny and Grandpar. Hopefully next year it will include Meme and Pepe too! This year we decided to spoil the kids a little bit and packed the holiday full of fun and activities whilst hoping to try get a bit of time to relax and unwind, which in reality only happens when those two little monkeys go off to bed! There is just too much fun to be had and stuff to do when your 2 and 4 and who can blame them for not having an off switch!

Breadsticks...YEAH!

On the run up to Christmas we kept asking Olive what she would like Santa to bring her (if she was a good girl of course!) and it was the same answer every time; "A pink twinkle-bike with stabilisers and a basket!" We even wrote it down in a letter to father Christmas and sent it to the north pole! And when Christmas day arrived look what was under the tree...I think Santa listened!

Go Olive!

Baxter turns 2!

 Our little chap turned...

As is our tradition we took the day off work so we could spend it with our little man! As requested we took a ride on the [real] train and stood and watched the fast trains zipping past at Surbiton station, Baxter was transfixed! A bus ride and 2 playground stops later we picked up Olive from school and Baxter demanded we get on the train...again! So, once more we rode to Surbiton and then decided to head over to the local Pizza Express for a special birthday tea of which turned out to be a real success as Olive and Baxter learned how to make there own pizza dough!

Hats on!

Hands ready!

Knead it!

Stretch it!

Work it!

Taste it!

Fling it...Whaaap!

YES Baxter! What a lovely day and all rounded off with mummy's cup cakes I would say that he - and Olive -enjoyed themselves thoroughly!
