Trendy Trainers
Sunday Nov 8th. and we pretty much avoided all the Firework displays as Olive apparently wasn't in the mood to go in the garden and set up our bumper pack of atomic-air bombs and apocalypse sky rockets that we bought especially for her first Guy Fawkes night -nee bother! Instead we had a very relaxed catch up with the Pilgrims and Olive decided to break out her new kicks and try out her new stroller...Mummy!
Granny got in some good cuddles and inadvertently supplied Olive with some new beads to chomp on -her favourite!

Sitting upright!
Nearly 7 months and another achievement for our little crumpet: she can sit up all on her own! Clever girl! she loves to sit there babbling away grabbing at stuff and mostly still trying to shove it in her mouth. It is truly amazing, the simplest things make you feel so proud it's almost embarrassing!
Kansas
We just got back from a lovely trip to see the Chauvin's in Kansas -and Olive's first trans- Atlantic flight! Unfortunately we forgot our Camera and so have hardly any pictures of our trip to the great plains of the ole US but Olive had a wonderful time hanging out with her Grandparents and discovered the playground swing!
whoa...
Super-Thumper!
I think Aunty Lacy particularly enjoyed meeting her niece and helping our small Olive keep in motion and another development; Olive finally realised a trip in a car seat can actually be fun occasionally and look at this for a whopper smile -so bloomin' cute!
It was great to spend time relaxing, eating some good BBQ, pulling pints off the 'Kegerator' (picture!), a few bottles of the coveted Bordeaux: Chateaux Chauvin and then watch Olive laugh at Dillon (D.O.G) the blond Lab. chasing a ball and yes, here is the best shot we have of that!
hhhmm...and the slightly perplexed look on all is because David lobbed the ball a little too far down the end of their back yard and Dillon can't find it!
All-in-all it was a very relaxing stay and the Chauvin's got some proper quality time with their first granddaughter.
