Godparently weekend (the 8/9
th--as I said, this post is way overdue). Sunday, we were graced with an
estimable visit from Olive's Godfather, D. D was visiting from Athens with his lovely new lady friend. They stopped by and we threw some chicken and sausages on the
bbq. D was his usual wonderful generous self and very kindly showered our little girl with pressies-- a very stylish Dior jacket and a very cosy fluffy
thumper bunny!! Well done, Godfather!! Thank you!
I did briefly worry for Olive as D seemed to think her face a bit of a squeeze toy! I know she looks squidgy but we like her face the shape it is, thanks! : )
On the Saturday, we drove down to West Sussex to see Olive's Godmother, Amy, exchange vows with that rascal Northern Dave. It was the most beautiful wedding--really really special! Olive was a little
frightened by the people and noise so sadly we had to beat a hasty exit and did not get ANY pictures! I'll get some off of Amy and post them soon!
